A Fill-Up refers to each time you use your Galela card to purchase fuel. Each Fill-Up can be 5 to 80 litres, depending on how much fuel you need at a fuel station. When swiping or using your Galela card to purchase fuel, you use a Fill-Up each time, meaning if you have 3 Fill-Ups and go to a fuel station 2 times (regardless if you get a full tank or not), you will be left with 1 Fill-Up.
Galela Fill-Ups are substantiously more affordable than purchasing fuel at normal cost. The higher your Galela package is, the more affordable each Fill-Up is.
When your Fill-Ups have been depleted you can always top them up again. To top up your Galela Fill-Ups simply select the option to do so on the website header or on your account page, you have a limited number of times you can top up your Fill-Ups per month (based on your package), this is to ensure fair usage. The fee you pay upon signing up is your first top up per package chosen.
• It is recommended that you use each Fill-Up to purchase a full tank, this is so you get more out of your card.
• Each Fill-Up has a maximum limit of 80 litres, and in a case where you exceed this limit, your Galela card will decline.
• You are not restricted to how little or how much more fuel you can purchase on each Fill-Up except only if you try to purchase more fuel than the 80 litres limit we allow.
• Galela cards are solely for fuel purchasing & will decline upon an attempt to purchase any other item other than fuel, at our partners' fuel stations.
• Each Fill-Up has a maximum limit of 80 litres, and in a case where you exceed this limit, your Galela card will decline.

Please note that the Galela card only works at Total, BP, Engen, Shell & Sasol fueling stations nationwide.
